Since wen I been dey small, so many preachers and evangelist don tell us say eternal life na the life wey we go live after we don kaput commot from dis world. But truly truly, no be wetin the bible tell us about eternal life.

Make we see the book of John 3:16 “Baba God love dis world so tay e come send im only son Jesus Christ to die for us, so dat any persin wey believe in Jesus no go kaput finish but dat Persin go get everlasting life.

Now, the problem be say wen people dey quote dis passage, dem dey conclude for the word perish. Meaning say any persin wey believe Jesus Christ im own no go finish but dat Persin go go heaven after e leave dis world. But if we read the verse go reach the end, we go see say e talk say any Persin wey believe Jesus go also get eternal life. Therefore, the reason Jesus Christ come dis world be say, e come to destroy that barrier wey be Sin, so dat we go fit fellowship with Baba God yanfu yanfu without obstruction.

Heaven na the additional benefit wey we get wen we believe in Jesus. Jesus let us know say even if heaven and earth no dey or na only you dey dis world, e go still come die for you. Dat kind love na rugged type of love. So e dey very important for us to sabi say nothing fit stop the father to love 💘 us.

Now make we see John 3:36

“Persin wey believe the only pikin wey Baba God get, go get everlasting life. But persin wey no believe Man pikin, no go get dat life at all at all. God go always dey vex with dat kind persin.

E mean say the moment you gum your trust, your faith and belief for Jesus body, you dey sure of eternal life for dis world. But if you no believe in Jesus deep inside you, you dey deceive yourself because no eternal life for you and Baba God go dey vex for you.

Even the Pidgin Verse for today talk say the true meaning of Eternal life na to sabi God and also to sabi Jesus wey e send give us.

How you go take sabi God?

Make we see this example, if I ask you whether you sabi who be President Buhari , I know say you go say yes. But I wan tell you say you no dey 100% correct. Why because, you no sabi im favorite food, colour, clothes, hobby, book, child, activity and many others. You only sabi am based on the small one wey you hear and know. The same with us and Jesus Christ. Most of us we sabi God based on wetin our pastor and teacher tell us for church meaning say we never interact one on one with am. So for us to sabi God, we need to fellowship everyday with am through the word of God wey be Bible and through prayers. Na how we go take dey interact one on one with Baba God. God dey always desire to fellowship with us on a daily basis, so make we always dey try to take our everi everi go meet Baba God for the place of fellowship. Make we no dey float on top surface, dey drink milk like small pikin, but make we go deeper into the word of God and prayers so dat we go fit mature and talk boldly like apostle Paul wey talk say, “that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection”. God go give you the grace to fellowship more with am, in Jesus name. Amen.
